Join local historian Alan Byrne on a trip through the history and stories associated with the Iveagh Trust. This online tour will explore some of the places in the Liberties we pass by every day that have a strong association with the Guinness Family and the Iveagh Trust including: The Guinness Brewery, St. Patrick's Cathedral and Park, The Iveagh Trust and The Iveagh Play Centre ('The Bayno' - now the Liberties College).

Join me, Alan Swaine, live on a Virtual Tour exploring the history of Dublin's Thomas Street. Learn how the murder of an archbishop would give its name to the street. As well as this, we will explore the rise and fall whiskey distilling in the area and touch on the Great Whiskey Fire of 1875. Finally, we will discuss the revolutionary history of Thomas Street from the capture of Lord Edward Fitzgerald to the public execution of Robert Emmet.
